Proper tank setup Mississippi Map Turtles should use a minimum of a 75-gallon tank size for one adult male, but if with a female turtle, use a tank of at least 125 gallons. In addition, it provides enough space for them to bask and creates a special basking area with a flat surface for the turtles to dry themselves. You must also use a good filter to maintain water quality and live or artificial aquatic plants to mimic their natural habitat.
The tank should be equipped with a basking lamp with UVB light to facilitate the Mississippi map turtle's vitamin D synthesis.
Good luck!!! 😁
